SEC CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND

Despite a terrible loss to the soon after National Champs, Auburn, our trip to Atlanta was FANtabulous! 2010 was the most exciting Carolina football season to, well, I guess, all of us fans! We don't get a chance to say that too often, but while we can, we will! We were so pumped about this weekend, although we knew it would be tough, we also knew it would be a blast. We loaded up in the "Town Car" (Pop's!), magnets on and flags just'a blowin' in the wind and we were off to the city of the South! Me, Moma, Daddy and Pop. We met up with the Couch's once we arrived, had our celebratory toast and we hightailed it to Buckhead. I've never seen so many people in a bar, but thanks to our friend, Patrick Davis....he packed the house. It was freezing, emotions were high and football was in the air......JUST my kind of weekend! Saturday morning came very early to us late nighters but we ate, shopped, walked, walked, and walked some more. Poor Pop hung in with us until the bitter end.....he's such a trooper, but then again, he'll do anything for his beloved Gamecocks!! Tailgating was short and sweet, as we were all ready to get into the dome and get to our seats. Let the game begin!!! It was an awesome atmosphere, a packed house and a friendly competition between our fellow SEC fans. Although our cheers were short lived, just being there meant leaps and bounds to our program and we look forward to the 2011 season!! Go COCKS!

Love my Daddy!

He offered, I obliged!

Gobble, Gobble, Tigers are for Dinner!!

As the holidays get into full swing, its Thanksgiving that I look most forward to because I know Christmas is RIGHT around the corner.....my favorite time of year!! We had a packed weekend, full of turkey, dressing and an all-out Tiger beatdown!!! There are few better combos than that! We got to spend another awesome weekend with Perry & Jess at the lake and I must say that her little prego belly has me thinking.......! I just can't wait for March to get here....(hope she knows I've already taken vacation to come visit!)
Our little Alshon showed up bigtime for the game and he made it till the end....even outlasted his Daddy and Uncle Perry (not that it took too much for that!)
Friends, good food, drinks by the fire and victorious Gamecocks make for awesome weekends!!

So we didn't MAKE the championship game, but did you really think we'd miss it?!?!
